The artist approached me in order to document her artworks and help breathe new life in exposing them online for her new portfolio. She required each artwork to be photographed in a studio against a plain backdrop. To have each detail to be highlighted bringing out the contents of her brush strokes against the canvas and pencil carvings on the paper. All images have been specifically cropped and aligned in accordance to the artists requirements.
Sabrina Calleja Jackson (b. 1988) is a Maltese artist and curator. She obtained a Masters Degree in Fine Art, Site and Archiving Intervention from the University of Central Lancashire in 2012 and a B.A. (Hons) at the MCAST Institute for Creative Arts in 2011.
Calleja Jackson’s work allows her to constantly discover new places. Working with space and time, she explores memory and the impact it leaves on the now. These results, depicted through drawing, oil paint, print and installation art, although not necessarily final, play an important part in her constant research.
